All Hänel storage systems meet the requirements of European standard EN 15095 and the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV). With the annual safety inspection/maintenance check according to EN 15095 and the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), Hänel service technicians ensure the maximum safety and functionality of your system.

And in its maintenance, Hänel goes far beyond the prescribed safety measures. Any work needing to be done on the electronics can be tackled easily from outside the unit via the easy-access drawer at the front of Hänel's vertical lift modules or via the openable control box on Hänel Rotomat® office and storage carousels.

Hänel Lean-Lifts® and the Hänel Multi-Space® have a maintenance door at the side. Crawling inside a unit through the retrieval opening, which would be awkward and decidedly dangerous, is forbidden by Hänel's safety regulations.

When the maintenance door is open, all the lift functions are interrupted – so convenient servicing with maximum safety is guaranteed.

A service-friendly and ergonomic solution from Hänel!

Yet another innovation is the Hänel extractor support. This novel system protects the technician by preventing the extractor from descending. This measure is likely to be mandatory in future – at Hänel it's already available today!
